Every tool on this page runs today

Every card above opens a working tool. There is no planned list and no route that ends in a page about software that does not exist yet. Some tools share an engine with different settings: unlock and password protect are one engine, and JPG to PDF is the images-to-PDF engine with its file contract set to JPG.

Before any download, a tool opens its own output again in the tab and reads it back. A tool that rewrites text proves the text survived. If a check fails, you see the error instead of the download button.

Why these online PDF tools run in the tab

Every tool here is JavaScript and WebAssembly that your browser downloads once and then runs on your own machine. Your file never goes to a server, so there is no upload wait, no queue, no file size cap set by someone else's disk, and nothing to delete afterwards. No account is needed and nothing asks you to sign in.

The trade is honest: the work happens on your device, so a slow phone is slower than a fast laptop, and a very large file needs memory the tab has to find. In exchange, the file stays with you. Read how it works for what each tool checks before it lets you download.

Questions people ask

Are these PDF tools free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free, with no cap on how many files you run and no account needed. Nothing on pdfgym can be bought today.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. The tools run in your browser tab. Your file is opened in the tab, changed in the tab, and saved from the tab. It is never sent to a server.
How is a tool checked before I download?
After a tool finishes, it opens its own output again in the same tab and reads it back. A tool that rewrites text counts the characters that survived. A failed result is reported as an error and is not offered for download.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no limit set by pdfgym. The limit is the memory your browser tab can use, which depends on your device. A large scan on an old phone can fail where the same file works on a laptop.
